Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding functions have officially begun. On Friday evening, the family hosted a star-studded ‘sangeet’ ceremony at the NMACC in Mumbai. With many renowned names from the worlds of sports and entertainment in attendance, international popstar Justin Bieber stole the show with his live performance at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony. Bollywood superstars such as Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor also grooved to some iconic songs at the grand bash — the latest in a string of high-profile parties that the Ambani family has organised in the run-up to the wedding next week.
The family welcomed the illustrious guests with a special “Deewangi Deewangi” style performance, and Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shook a leg with Akash Ambani on the song “Thumka” from the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Actor Ranveer Singh and Veer Pahariya also danced to the title track of No Entry, which invited lots of hoots from the audience.
Salman Khan grooved onstage with the groom Anant Ambani, and Veer, to the song “Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai.”
With many star-studded performances, Justin Bieber singing live became the highlight of the evening. The Canadian singer delivered some electrifying performances of his famous songs like “Peaches,” “Baby,” and more.
The Ambani family also dedicated a special performance for Team India and danced on “Lehra Do”.
Other celebs who attended the sangeet ceremony were Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kanhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal. Many sports stars like Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, MS Dhoni were in attendance, too.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will get married in Mumbai on July 12.
